We are beyond thrilled to announce our next exhibition, the space between by tara bogart, which is on view from Friday, February 27th through April 11, 2026. Please join us for our opening reception on Friday, February 27th from 5-8PM at One-Off Exhibitions.
In conjunction with this exhibition, we invite all of you to share your notions of the space between. Throughout the course of this exhibition, you will find a response box outside of the gallery. We encourage all who attend the opening and pass through our space within the Real Tinsel building to add in your understanding and experiences of this concept of the space between. On Saturday, March 14th at 2PM, Kim Miller, performance artist and Tara Bogart, visual artist will create a site specific performance using the collected responses. Join us in this moment to contemplate the importance of these spaces between.

Below, please find a few words from Tara Bogart on this body of gestural photographic sculptures and living in the space between:
This work comes from living in between…between countries, cultures, even centuries.
Between endings and beginnings. Between what has dissolved and what has not yet taken form.
I am drawn to the suspended moment at a crossroad. Not arrival. Not departure. The quiet interval where identity loosens and shifts.
The figures appear at my own scale, occupying space rather than depicting it, insisting on a physical presence that feels both immediate and unstable.
In these thresholds, presence carries absence. The past leans into the present. What feels fragile can also hold strength.
There was a time I resisted this condition, wanting clarity, wanting ground. Now I trust it more. The in-between is no longer something to escape. It is a place to stand which is permeable, charged, alive with possibility.
It is where transformation begins, without announcement.
